FAQ and Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Manago, from operational coordination to the automatic publication of services and the Event Companion.
What is a personalized Manago invite?
A Manago invite opens a proposal prepared for your organization: name, Manago address, recommended modules and the first landing preview. You can explore how the public space would look before connecting it to your administrator account and continuing setup.
Why is the organization name shortened in the dashboard header?
The dashboard measures the space left by its logo and controls using the current geometry and typography. It shows the full name when it fits, or a readable prefix followed by an ellipsis. When a readable prefix cannot fit, only the logo and controls remain on the same row. If even the logo cannot fit, mandatory controls take priority; the complete organization name remains accessible. The organization identity never changes; its full name remains available to assistive technology and in the name tooltip.
What opens when visitors scan an event QR code?
The published QR keeps its existing event destination. On the compact event page, quick links open the available guide, map, programme, raffle and location. Disabled sections are omitted. The event status follows published dates; printed flyers, QR tokens and published map data are unchanged.
What is Manago and how does it differ from a regular management tool or website?
Manago combines two tools into one: an internal operational workspace to coordinate shifts, trips, people, and events, and a configurable public channel (your-org.on.manago.app or custom domain). Enter data once in the workspace and Manago automatically generates public pages, interactive maps, and services for citizens.
Do I need an existing website or registered domain to get started?
No. Every organization immediately receives a dedicated and secure web address (e.g. org-name.on.manago.app). If you already own a custom domain (e.g. organization.org), you can connect it at any time.
How do I customize and publish our organization's website with the Visual Studio?
Manago's Visual Studio V2 provides an in-situ Live Canvas: drag and arrange modules directly onto the flexible 12-column page grid, preview the exact layout in real time for desktop and mobile, and compare your draft against the live published version before publishing with a single click.
Is my organization’s data isolated and protected from external access?
Absolutely. Manago uses a multi-tenant architecture with cryptographic isolation at the database layer (Row Level Security). No other organization can access your beneficiaries, members, or volunteer records.
Do festival or event attendees need to download an app from an app store?
No app store download is required. Manago generates an Event Companion WebApp: attendees scan the QR code with their smartphone, open the guide instantly in the browser, and can optionally add it to the Home Screen when the device supports installation.
How does the interactive map for booths and stages work?
From your workspace, you can place points of interest (POIs) on the map: food stands, ticket counters, stages, restrooms, parking, and first aid points. Visitors see a geolocated map to easily navigate the venue.
Can attendees get directions to the event arrival point?
Yes. In the WebApp configuration, the organization can choose one published map POI as the event intro point; if it does not choose one, or the selected POI is no longer present, Manago uses the first published POI still present. The Event Companion then shows a main Guide me to the event action with Google Maps directions and, when available, a shortcut to reveal that POI on the official event map.
Can I print posters and flyers with the QR code directly from Manago?
Yes. Manago's rendering engine automatically generates A4 files in vector PDF and high-resolution PNG format, pre-styled with your event theme and a dynamic QR code linked to the WebApp.
Can the print shop split a large-format output into panels from the protected delivery page?
Yes. After the referent accepts, the forwardable prepress link opens the protected cutter: the print shop enters total size, printer width, rotation, cut direction and gluing overlap. Manago calculates panels in millimeters, shows only the preview and generates the panel PDFs server-side from the protected vector source. The source SVG stays server-side and is not downloadable; proportions are preserved with the minimum white padding when the source and print aspect ratios differ.
What can I do with Event Studio?
Event Studio is the primary operational canvas for an event: it lets you compose modules, visual style, QR, public page, Companion WebApp, and print settings in one workspace. Specialized editors for map, WebApp, print, programme, gallery, raffle and assets remain available as tenant-scoped tools when a single module needs detailed refinement. The draft is saved into the event configuration; public release still follows the regular approval and publish flow.
Can Manago handle multi-day festivals with different schedules?
Certainly. Manago supports both single-day and multi-day events with timed occurrences, parallel activities across multiple squares or stages, and date-specific programmes.
Can we publish a photo gallery after an event is over?
Yes. From the event workspace you can upload rights-cleared photos, choose the cover, edit captions, and publish the gallery into the live event snapshot. Public visitors can open a lightbox, share memories on WhatsApp, and download approved photos.
Can our Public Area show and coordinate social channels?
Yes. The social syndication hub records approved public URLs for Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Telegram, and YouTube, shows them on the published landing page with official channel badges, and prepares operator-opened publication intents. It does not store tokens or secrets and does not post through Graph/API providers until a future provider activation exists.
How does Mano Mago decide what it can answer?
Mano Mago is the magic of conversational assistance in Manago: a welcoming, practical concierge that communicates naturally, always context-aware and free of technical complexity. On the platform site, it explains Manago capabilities, collects the minimum onboarding details and, when it recognizes the organization name plus city or territory, prepares a prefilled tenant activation card that opens the access request with fields already filled; when the controlled runtime allows it, it can also start a real new-organization draft. On a tenant public website, it welcomes visitors, guiding them through events, timetables, food stands, parking, membership, and direct WhatsApp contacts (requiring the mano_mago_informational capability). In the authenticated dashboard, it transforms into an operational co-pilot for staff (mano_mago_operational capability) to create events, add map stands, set schedules, and inspect TSS transport requests according to authorized roles. The Features page also exposes the Manago Agent Pack: a tenant-scoped contract that can be copied into external agents without including API keys, together with Manago provider gate status for Vercel, Cloudflare Workers AI and Google Gemini. Every new feature stays aligned with this FAQ through the Living Truth protocol.
How does dispatching social transport trips to drivers work?
When a transport request arrives (e.g., medical appointment or therapy), the coordinator logs and assigns it to an available driver or volunteer. The operator receives trip details on their mobile phone (pickup, destination, time, and passenger notes) and updates the status in real time.
Can volunteers or drivers with limited tech experience use it easily?
Yes, Manago is specifically designed to eliminate complexity. It includes a high-readability mode (Glasses / Clarity mode) that enlarges buttons, contrast, and spacing, ideal for on-the-go field use or senior operators.
How does the official tax-designation (5×1000) showcase work?
Your organization can publish a verified official card on your public page displaying your Tax Code, official tax-filing copy, and clear instructions for supporters.
Can we manage annual membership sign-ups and fee dues for the new season?
Yes. Manago provides a flexible tenant-scoped membership module tailored to any local non-profit organization (Pro Loco, Auser, sports clubs, cultural associations). The board can configure three engagement modes: 1) Informational & In-Person (displays office hours, 1-click WhatsApp inquiry, bank wire IBAN details, and statute download), 2) Digital Automatic (online member registration, legal statute/privacy consent, and automated card fee collection via Stripe to paid status), or 3) Hybrid / Mixed (offers visitors the choice between instant online sign-up and in-person/contact registration). All applications feed directly into the board dashboard and association member register.
How do fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns work on Manago?
You can launch dedicated campaigns with target funding goals, real-time progress bars, donor counters, and predefined or custom donation amounts. Campaigns can be published directly on the Public Area or accessed via a dedicated page and QR code.
What payment methods are supported for donations?
Manago supports instant card donations via Stripe Connect (settling directly to the organization's IBAN with zero intermediary custody) and bank transfers using standard SEPA EPC QR codes (EPC069-12), scannable by banking apps to auto-populate IBAN, beneficiary, amount, and payment reference.
How do I configure and publish images or videos in my Public Area hero?
Open Public Area, go to Hero & Cover, and choose the slide media type. For an image, provide its URL; for a video, select the provider and enter the link, with an optional poster. Existing internal relative paths are supported too. Save the slide, then choose Publish changes: Manago waits for pending saves and publishes the current revision through the controlled publication boundary. The button accepts an internal path, an HTTPS link, tel: with a phone number, or mailto: with a single email address and no parameters. You can change the image without removing its contact link. Save Slide updates the draft; Real Preview shows the draft and Compare places it beside the published site. The live site changes only when you Publish Changes.
Do I need technical or graphic design skills to set up Manago?
None at all. Every module is guided step-by-step and ready in minutes. No coding or design experience is required.
How can I activate Manago for my organization?
Registrations are currently in a controlled pilot phase to provide dedicated onboarding support. You can request access from the dedicated page, message us directly on WhatsApp, or describe your organization to Mano Mago: if you provide at least the name and city or territory, Mano Mago prepares a prefilled card that opens the access request without creating or publishing anything automatically.
What does the Manago brand identity mean?
The Manago brand combines the MANA name with a continuity mark in green and cyan. The refreshed identity makes the platform recognizable across native surfaces, public pages, and app icons while keeping each organization identity separate.
How does the tenant Places feature work?
Places is an independent tenant capability for cataloguing territorial points of interest such as landmarks, cultural sites, trails and useful local stops. When a tenant publishes Places, Manago can project them in the public landing and dedicated /places pages without making the Public Area editor the source of the capability.
Can an event map point link to a tenant Place?
Yes. An event POI can keep its event-specific coordinates and label while linking to a published tenant Place. In the Event Companion, visitors can open the tenant Place page for richer territorial information instead of duplicating the full Place content inside the event.
How does Manago send tenant transactional emails?
Manago sends tenant-scoped transactional emails, such as member invitation links and new TSS request notifications, through the native Manago mail authority. The sender remains the canonical Manago address, tenant contacts can be used only as verified Reply-To addresses, and each tenant email includes a footer explaining that Manago generated it for that organization. Delivery is queued in the encrypted transactional outbox so the original request or invitation is not lost if SMTP delivery must be retried.
How does Manago handle Google Search indexing, SEO metadata, and custom tenant domains?
Manago automatically generates dedicated SEO metadata for every public tenant page (landing, events, services, places, membership, fundraising), including dynamic titles, editorial descriptions, Open Graph tags, and Schema.org structured data. Canonical links and the XML sitemap always reflect the organization's verified primary custom domain or canonical subdomain, ensuring clean, duplicate-free indexing across search engines like Google.
